It’s been a long time that I haven’t contacted you, how is everything going?
Yesterday our company did a pre-sale presentation for our customers and I remember you suddenly and realize how much I really miss you.
After the closure of Montessori Center, I found another job in Yantai a month ago. It’s a management consulting company that sells SAP Management Software for enterprises. Actually, enterprises are growing fast and geared towards global market but most of them are focused on production that makes management system really weak. This made me realize that many companies will need management software in the future which could be a big market. Our company is the only licensed organization to sell the SAP Business so I chose this.
As you know SAP services larger enterprises. Now, they have new software known as SAP One for the small and midsize companies introduced in China in 2003.
My work now is to find and contact latent customers, focusing on enterprises and management area, and research more information for SAP Business One as market assistant.
By the way, it’s my pleasure to tell you about my interview, When the HR manager asked me if I know anything about SAP, I honestly said no. And the second question was, “how about ERP?” Hahaha! I remember it right away coz I learned it from your BA class. The manger was very satisfied with my answer.
We also need to do pre-sale presentations for customers in English for our foreign managers. Dr. Chan, you are right as well as your education method. You are not only teaching BA knowledge but also BA experience. I couldn’t forget when I prepared my presentations in front of the washroom’s mirror in Raffles and had a presentation class outside. It was you who let me know what business lesson is all about. It has given me all the confidence I need to be successful in this field.
Next month we are organizing a proseminar for our latent customers and I will do a lot of work. I’m sure I can do all the work well and I will try my very best to do it. I really need to learn more things and get more experiences from now on.
